<The three annual Festivals>
Exodus 23:14-19
14 Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.
15 Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread: for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Go this at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in that month you came out of Egypt.
16 Celebrate the Feast of Harvest with the first fruits of the crops you sow in your field.
Celebrate the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your drops from the field
17 Three times a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord
Before I start preaching, I will summarize the sermon of last Sunday.
What will happen at the end of the world?
The Lord's Second Coming is approaching. Jesus was born in the Manger of stable in the first coming. But the Lord will come in glory when He returns. "Look, he is coming with clouds.(Revelation 1:7)" "But as the days of Noah were so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."(Matthew 24:37) Many sinners will meet the Lord with fear and trembling.
These are signs of the last time(times). Famine, earthquakes, and wars will happen everywhere. These things are happening all over the world. Now is the end of the world. Nowadays people are self-centered and like to be alone. And they want to be separated from God. People are separated from God and faith. We must believe in the Lord's second coming.
Today is Thanksgiving Day. The people of the world know that it is the day of Thanksgiving to God for harvesting after reaching the continent of America to seek freedom from religious persecution in England.
But it is wrong! Thanksgiving is based on the Bible.
The three annual Festivals are the Feast of Unleavened bread, the Feast of Harvest and the Feast of Ingathering.
The Passover(the Feast of Unleavened bread) is a day to thank for the great grace saved from sin and death. The Feast of Harvest is a day to thank God's guidance. The Feast of Ingathering is a day of thank God for the grace that saved the Israel from all dangers.
God protected the Israel by the clouds during the day and the pillar of the fire by the night.
The three annual festivals are days of gratitude for God's grace; God's salvation, God's guidance, and God's security.
The Passover is a day of gratitude for the grace that has been saved from eternal destruction.
The king of this world is a devil. The only purpose of the devil is to cut between God and us.
We have received three great graces (that is, the grace of salvation, guidance, and security). Grace is free. God does not want the price of His grace. The only price of grace is to thank God. God wants us to be like Him. God is perfect. Everything in this world belongs to God. There is no shortage of possessions to God. God's only wish is that we will be blessed for eternity.
If you follow only God's guidance, and if you don't leave God's security, you will be in peace. When you leave faith, everything will be broken down.
We must remember His grace and thank (to-삭제) God. Our salvation is glorious.
Grace is cut off when you stop thinking the thankfulness of God. (s is cut off.- 삭제) God gave us liberty and freedom from the oppression of the world, sin, death and Satan. We had the freedom to be free from jealousy, complaints, worries, anxious, and grudge.
We have the power to stand in the midst of despair because of the redemption of the Lord. And we were not the servants of the world and had the power to be free.
